Princeton Summer School on Condensed Matter Physics (PSSCMP) 2019

PCCM hosted the 2019 Princeton Summer School on Condensed Matter Physics (PSSCMP) at Princeton University from Monday, July, 29 - Thursday,  Aug. 1, 2019. The program was open to both Princeton and non-Princeton graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the sciences.

The summer school is a condensed matter physics education program that focuses on theoretical and experimental research of quantum many-body systems. The theme for 2019 was “Emergent phenomena and correlated physics in two-dimensional materials,” which provided researchers with an exposure to forefront topics in experimental and theoretical research of two-dimensional materials.  Lectures were of pedagogical aim and the organization of all programming was conducted by Princeton graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, with only modest faculty oversight. The PSSCMP was co-sponsored by the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science (PCTS).
