On June 11, PCCM welcomed 15 undergraduate students from a wide variety of universities in the United States (University of Florida, Louisiana State University, Mississippi State University, among others) to pursue research in materials science this Summer. These students will be working with PCCM Faculty and graduate student mentors, such as Prof. Rodney Priestley, Prof. Rick Register, Prof. Claire White and Prof. Howard Stone. In addition to research, they will also go on field trips to other research centers (PPPL) and companies (Universal Display Corporation), will have weekly seminars by our PCCM faculty and be part of many activities and tours during the Summer.
