Judith Yang is a group leader in electron microscopy at the Center for Functional Nanomaterials, Brookhaven National Laboratory, a former William Kepler Whiteford professor at the University of Pittsburgh, and a program director at the National Science Foundation.

PCCM hosts an Industrial and Government Lab Seminar Series that provides an opportunity for students and postdocs to meet with industry and government lab leaders who discuss their fields and the intersection of science, industry, and government research. Designed by PCCM Industrial Outreach Director, Professor Nan Yao, the seminars began with the 2016-2017 academic year and have enrolled over 896 attendees in the series history (117 attendees in 2023-2024).
