PSSCMP 2022: "Hidden Correlations in Flat Bands"
PCCM is hosting a hybrid Princeton Summer School on Condensed Matter Physics (PSSCMP) Monday, August 1 - Friday, August 5, 2022.
The summer school is a condensed matter physics education program that focuses on theoretical and experimental research in quantum many-body systems. The program is open to both Princeton and non-Princeton graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the sciences, and details regarding the hybrid format (in-person and remote) will be forthcoming. Participants can apply to present their research during a Poster Session.
The theme for 2022 is "Hidden Correlations in Flat Bands", focusing on the most exciting developments in strong interactions, topology, and superconductivity. Covering fundamental ideas as well as current work, this summer school will prepare participants for research in the field of quantum materials. Lectures will be of pedagogical aim and the program organization is conducted primarily by Princeton graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. PSSCMP is in its 18th year, having its inaugural year in 2005.
