Holiday Lecture 2018: The Science of Pizza: It's a Little Cheesy!

On Saturday, December 8, 2018, PCCM celebrated its annual Holiday Lecture: The Science of Pizza: It's a Little Cheesy! led by Prof. Howard Stone and Prof. Bonnie Bassler.  Over 300 members of the Princeton community attended this family-friendly science show and learned about monomers, enzymes, yeast, cheese-making, answering questions such as:

How does the dough come together?
What makes cheese melt, be stringy or stretch?

Audience participation is a big part of the interactive show and everyone enjoyed fresh pizza over science discussions and each child participant received a free t-shirt.
